Wrapping Up 2018, and Presenting 2019…

Firstly, pardon the ‘punny’ title for this blog post – I thought long and hard about it! Secondly, for the last of the 2018 blog post series, I thought I’d help you get ahead of your marketing strategy for next year, in terms of things to consider to putting together the most effective strategy. So here it goes!

1. Goals

Set your goals and be specific with them and know how you want to achieve them, but more importantly be honest with yourself, what do you really want to achieve with your marketing; is it to build brand awareness, or to increase conversion rates? If you can be honest with yourself about what you want, this will set everything else in motion.

2. Consistency

Yes, this is something we constantly go on about, but it’s extremely important to building your brand. Create a schedule and stick to it. If you’re going to push out a video on a monthly basis, then ensure you do it. If you’re going to post to social media twice a week, make sure you do it. This way your audience know that you are reliable and consistent in every area of your business.

3. Professional Video Marketing or Not?

Decide whether you want to use a video production agency or not? By using an agency, you know you’re the visual aspect of your marketing will be held to a high standard, the company are also likely to give you new undiscovered ideas which have not yet been used in the industry so far, putting you ahead of your competitors. However, we know this can be costly in some circumstances so do your research and take advantage of the free enquiry service that some video production agencies have (cough cough Cincera!).

4. Just Start!

Finally, just start! There is no correct time to begin or to plan your strategy. Use this time during December and leading up to the holidays to plan and set goals for what you want to achieve and how you will do this. It will also give you something to look forward to in the new year.
