Stanmore Marsh

A project by Harrow Council

Stanmore Marsh was a regeneration project by Harrow Council. The aim of the film was to bring awareness to a once neglected piece of land they have renovated for the public in the hope they would interact and learn.

The brief was to produce 2 films. A short trailer and a longer cut which featured interviews from core partners involved. The aim was to show the unique features of the new Marsh along with the long term plans.

The first video featured volunteers and partners discussing their contribution and the second was a film set to music displaying the best of the Marshes. We used drone shots to show the scale of the marshland and moving shots at ground level to feature the river, bridge and play area.

The films were very well received both by the project partners and also the local residents. The community around Stanmore Marsh are now really aware about what the plot used to be and it’s long term goals.
